How long have you been a photographer?
I always loved photography since I was a kid but it never crossed my mind I would be a photographer until the day I got a semi professional camera from my loved ones when I was 21 and started learning more and taking a little more serious and then the business just happened. I have been doing it for almost 12 years and it has been such a fun and amazing experience. I love that I get to connect with so many people and also get to keep so many beautiful moments.
Where are you based and do you travel or couples travel to you?
Salt Lake City, Utah! I do travel for my photography and oh boy, aren't these trips the coolest thing ever? I have quite a few clients that do travel to me to get their pictures done since I live in a state that is surround by national parks, beautiful mountains and deserts. Plenty of my couples do so they can make a little trip out of getting photos done. Utah has tons of incredible places, national parks, landscapes, mountains, and deserts.
When will we get our photos?
The turnaround depends on how much I shoot, how busy I am, my travel schedule, and the holidays. Typically, for sessions it takes 3 weeks or less and weddings take 5 weeks or less. I try to get them back to you as soon as possible while making sure I give time to each and every image needs.
How many pictures will we receive?
Each one of my packages varies in how many images are delivered, since many things need to be taken in consideration such as time, events, size of the group, etc.. but I promise I’ll always include plenty of images of everything I capture. I don’t like to give a cutoff number because I don’t believe in withholding any images from you to get you to pay more like some photographers do. You can always order canvases or albums, but I won't be charging you for extra photos. These are your memories, I promise to capture them fully and give you more than enough images to remember this time in your lives.
Do you give RAW unedited images?
No. I believe that editing is half the magic that goes into images and without this huge step the images are only halfway done. I promise to never leave any photos out that you’ll want/need, and if you feel I missed delivering a photo, just ask! I’m more than happy to check back through my images and send it over to you (I make mistakes, no lie!). I won’t let you miss out on your memories!
How does payment work?
I require 50% of the shoot on the day of our first shoot, which is usually engagements and the other 50% on the day of the wedding. For other sessions full amount should be paid on the day of the shoot. I’m happy to work with your schedule!
