“I love that you are my person and I am yours, that whatever door we come to, we will open it together.” — A.R. Asher
Choosing a photographer is one of the most important choices you make. Wedding days end, children grow up, and memories fade all too quickly. At the time, we think we will never forget how we feel; but often it is only photographs that can bring back those feelings of cherished moments.
My photography philosophy is to capture life’s beauty as it naturally unfolds before me. As I record authentic moments, your images reveal the style and beauty that are uniquely yours. And my goal is to not just provide you with beautiful images, but to also provide a fun and memorable experience!
On your most important day–a day that I spend most of the time by your side–you should feel comfortable and at ease. I believe there is a right photographer for each client, so I would love to meet you to learn about the details of your wedding, family, or special event and see if I’m the best photographer for you.
As your photographer, it is my privilege to capture that tender look, loving touch, or unexpected kiss, so that the feelings of that moment come rushing back when you look at the image we have created together. I strive to make you look and feel your best so your images capture your true, beautiful self.
The feelings of a tender moment bring out your natural beauty in a way that no amount of makeup or Photoshop can. That authenticity makes each of my clients uniquely beautiful.
I love high-fashion couture and dramatic looks, but style is also about attitude and confidence. If you’ve got brands you love or creations you own, we rock your look every time.
Your natural beauty and style won’t shine through if you’re stressed, so we laugh, joke, and have a good time to make sure we get comfortable and get real in your images.
You want to coordinate, not match. That means colors and styles that go together and don’t compete with each other.
Use different styles and textures of clothes, for example, a knit sweater, a button-down shirt, a jersey blouse. Neutral bottoms are always a safe bet: dark denim, gray, khaki, brown, or black.
Accessorize with a pop of color. Scarves, bracelets, belts, necklaces, ties, hats, etc. Of course, you just need one or two of those per person! One caution is to avoid super trendy accessories.
Multiple colors are fine, but stick to three main colors and their different tones. Tones are a great way to stay with a similar color but mix it up so you aren’t all the same.
Avoid using graphic tees, sunglasses, sneakers, chipped nail polish, and white athletic socks (don’t think socks won’t show!)
